A bipod is a stand similar to that of a tripod, only with two legs instead of three. Muzzle brake is a simple device that is mounted on the muzzle of a firearm. It changes the direction of the flow of gases escaping from the barrel during the shot, and thus partially compensates for the recoil and dampens the impact of the shot. It is usually cylindrical with several holes on the sides. For some small arms, asymmetrically placed muzzle brake holes are also used to compensate for the stroke of the weapon.
