    What is the handguard on the AR 15? The handguard, also known as the "rail", is one of the most important parts of the AR-15 or AR-10 rifle. Many builders prefer maximum versatility, accuracy and comfort with the free-floating M-LOK handguard. Others like the classic aesthetics and simplicity of the prestressing four-band handguard. The main function of the handguard is to protect the shooter's hand from heat, especially when operating a firearm. In addition, accessories can be installed on the arm guards to make shooting easier, such as angled reversing sights, lights, lasers and various front handles.

    Muzzle brake is a simple device that is mounted on the muzzle of a firearm.
